SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 23 Urging the United States                        
Congress to amend the Social Security Act so that the higher cost              
of living in Alaska is reflected when the per capita income of the             
state is used as a factor in determining the federal share of Medicaid         
costs, was enrolled, signed by the President and Secretary, Speaker            
and Chief Clerk and the engrossed and enrolled copies transmitted              
to the Office of the Governor at 10:00 a.m., May 21, 1997.
